2023 brought growth in our tournament team program – we fielded multiple teams across most age levels, we expanded Summer Clash to two weekends and A/B levels, and we also added an indoor hitting facility which will continue to be available year-round for our tournament teams.  We can’t wait to see what 2024 will bring!

Our goals continue to be to field competitive tournament teams to play at the appropriate levels - and to allow players to continue to play as long as they want at tournament levels and enjoy the game.  In order to do this, we have found at several levels that having some planned rotation between the "A" team and the "B" team rosters is valuable - for instance we can allow players who normally would not pitch on an A team to play a tournament or two with the B team and have opportunities to pitch and develop skills.  In addition we have found it valuable to manage injury / vacation gaps in this manner.

Coaches have stated that a mere 2 hr tryout spent with a player is not enough to evaluate for placement and rotation planning - therefore at 11, 12, and 13U we plan to have multiple options throughout the offseason to evaluate talent and development opportunities - with final weekends for individual players determined next spring.

We still require commitment for planning purposes - coaches begin to sign up for tournaments in December.  Tournament ball is a serious (but fun!) commitment for families.  Please ensure your signup means your player is committed to playing with Neenah Tournament Baseball next year.

14U tryouts will be for all interested players.  Ideally we will have two 14U tournament teams in 2024.  Our process will select the Red team first, then after completing that, the White team can be formed.

13U tryouts will be for all new to Neenah Tournament Baseball players as well as several coach recommended players from current teams.

11U,12U tryouts will be for all interested players.  We will likely have two teams but possibly three at these levels in 2024.  Tryouts will be used to help get to manageable roster numbers at these age levels.

8U, 9U, and 10U will not have tryouts but will utilize indoor facility workouts over the winter and spring practices to help determine team makeup.

Please note that there are no fees collected with this registration.  Information will be used for communication purposes as well as to help with team planning.  Tournament players will be required to be registered again when the 2024 league / tournament registration opens up in late November.  There are typically two rounds of tournament fees - a winter / indoor facility fee collected during the 2024 registration, as well as a player fee to be collected in June which is based on tournament fees, uniform costs, and sponsorship money raised by the team.
